From London, Prabowo Leads Virtual-Meeting on Forest Regulation

In a written statement released on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya, said the meeting conducted via video conference, was attended by several members of the Red and White Cabinet who are currently in Jakarta.
“President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting via video conference with several members of the Red and White Cabinet in Jakarta, including the Attorney General, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, the Minister of Law, the Minister of State Secretariat, as well as the Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), on Monday, 19 January 2026,” Teddy stated.
According to him, the main agenda of the meeting focused on evaluating the performance of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force. “The meeting discussed the progress of the Forest Area Regulation Task Force, which was established by President Prabowo in January 2025, or two months after he was inaugurated as President of the Republic of Indonesia,” Teddy said.
He added that President Prabowo chaired the meeting accompanied by ministers who were also in London, including Foreign Minister Sugiono, Minister of Forestry, Raja Juli Antoni, and Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya.
